Too many things to be thankful for. Almost too common to make such lists. But I guess there are some things that linger that I think I should put into internet eternity.
2011, was the year I became a filmmaker. Of course I worked on my first feature in 2009. But having it screened, talked about and blogged about and tweeted about didn’t happen to me till 2011.
I think there is Joy to know that my little film affected some people in the same way that I have these little films that I secretly love and only share with people I am most intimate with.
With the experience and the pain that came with making I-libings. Aware that the film did not get much accolades, but the applauses, the clicking punchlines and the respect from collegeues and mentors makes it a too wonderful confirmation of dreams that came true and stories waiting to unfold.
I salute the year, I know growth did not happen inside me as much as it did this year. Thank you to everyone who became a part of it. I look forward to seeing all of you again.

Don’t allow yourself to be tricked into thinking that the way things are is the way the world must work and that in the end selling is what everyone must do. Try not to.”
